For many years, the State of Montana, Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has used the same mass notification product (Assurance NM) to distribute important health alerts published by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Effective June 30, 2023, Assurance NM will no longer be our standard mass notification platform to publish health alerts.

The State of Montana is rolling out a new product called Everbridge™. Everbridge™ is a reliable and contemporary mass notification tool used by some public safety agencies within Montana for emergency alerts related to evacuations, severe weather, shelter-in-place, etc. DPHHS will adopt this innovative platform and utilize it to publish future health alerts.

Everbridge™ is forecasted to go-live on July 1, 2023
